The award winning 216,000 sf MIT.nano houses state of the art cleanroom, imaging, and prototyping facilities supporting research with nanoscale materials and processes in fields including energy, health, life sciences, quantum sciences, electronics, and manufacturing. Point Energy was a strategic energy efficiency advisor, working closely with the local design team of Wilson HGA and BR+A Engineers. Designed to MIT’s goal of being the most energy efficient academic cleanroom, MIT.nano expects 51% energy savings and 50% carbon reductions compared to industry standard.
